Bebek Asam Pedas

Properly cooked duck is both uniquely tasty and nutritious. One of the best kept nutritional secrets today, however, is that duck, as well as most foods, can be included in a nutritionally well-balanced healthy diet.

Ingredients

  • 800 gr of duck, cut into serving pieces
  • 2 tbsp Javanese Tamarind Juice
  • 1 tsp of turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
  • 300 ml of water
  • ½ tsp of salt
  • 2 tbsp of margarine
Directions:
Heat margarine, stir fry blended spices until fragrant
Add the duck and stir well
Add turmeric powder and Worcestershire sauce, stir well
Pour the water and tamarind juice and cook gently for 50-60 minutes until the meat is fully cooked
Transfer to a serving dish and serve while still hot
